Tim has lived in Nashville since 1989 and calls woodworking his passion. He started expanding his craft after the woodworking projects became custom requests from friends and relatives. Jenn is a 4th Generation Nashvillian and started making candles to add to her personal collection. As the woodworking side of the business began to expand, Jenn's candles and small curated gifts seemed like the perfect extension of the House of Wards brand. Now you will find these handcrafted goods in homes and retailers across the US, from New York to right here in Franklin, TN.

In 2025, we were able to expand our business to an exterior candle and woodshop. We also wanted to create an intimate space that would allow our clients be able to shop a curated selection of House of Ward products on demand. We are wanting to continue to service our customers in the best (and easiest) ways possible. So we created "Shop Saturday's" right here, in the heart of Franklin.
